The New York Jets defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 18-17 with a last second Nick Fold field goal setup by a Geno Smith throw to Kellen Winslow for 25 yards and a scramble for 10 with a 15-yard personal foul tacked on.

The Jets had a +10.7 edge in The Trench Counter, as the Buccaneers racked up 102 yards in penalties and recorded just 12 first downs. The Jets had a +13 advantage in Total Rushes/Completions.

Smith went 24-for-38 for 256 yards, one touchdown and an interception while adding 47 yards on the ground.

Josh Freeman went 15-for-31 for 210 yards, one touchdown and an interception. Vincent Jackson caught seven balls for 154 yards. Doug Martin scored a touchdown, but rushed for just 65 yards on 24 carries along with two fumbles (one lost).
