Colin Kaepernick has become a target of interest for possible endorsement deals.

In the past week, “easily” 20 companies “have come offering their services,” said Kaepernick’s marketing agent, Shawn Smith. “We have vitamin supplement companies and beverage companies coming at us, but so far I haven’t bothered Colin with any of it.”

The only significant deal Kaepernick has right now is with Nike, whose branded cleats and gloves he wears on the field, in addition to NFL-mandated Nike apparel. “Reebok came to us with a very creative idea, but he’s comfortable with Nike,” said Smith.

“He’s an extremely marketable player, but in the NFL, and particularly in San Francisco, the iconic status comes from winning Super Bowls,” said Steve Baker, a San Francisco sports agent.
