The Carolina Panthers have hired Mike Shula as offensive coordinator.

Shula replaces Rob Chudzinski, who left Carolina after being hired as head coach of the Cleveland Browns.

Shula's last stint as an NFL offensive coordinator came with Tampa Bay from 1996 to 1999.
