Oregon offensive coordinator Mark Helfrich will be promoted to head coach if Chip Kelly leaves for the NFL, according to a source.

Kelly is scheduled to interview with the Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles and Buffalo Bills.

Oregon is expecting Kelly to eventually leave for the NFL.

"Conceptually, it's about continuity," the source said.
