Mario Williams has significantly increased his play since undergoing surgery on his wrist.

Williams, however, said he doesn't wish he underwent the surgery earlier.

"No, because I definitely would've missed a game for sure," Williams said. "Regardless of what happened and if it hindered anything, you don't want to miss a game coming into your first year in a new place.

"You just have to suck it up every week. ... I'm glad I did it when I did."

Williams had just 16 tackles, 3.5 sacks and seven quarterback hits in seven games before the surgery. In six games following the surgery, Williams has 21 tackles, seven sacks and seven quarterback hits. He has also forced two fumbles.
