The San Francisco 49ers are 4-1, but Jim Harbaugh wants his team to remain at their very best at all times.

"It's scary good -- scary good," Harbaugh said. "The law of averages say that you're not going to keep getting the breaks, not going to stay at that spot.

"But if you understand the concept of scary good, then you got a chance. Stay on your toes, keep your guard up, stay paranoid and come out here every day and do what you believe in, which is the preparation."

Harbaugh referenced the book, "Only the Paranoid Survive", which was written by Andy Grove. Grove is the former CEO of Intel.

"The Intel folks wrote that book. I thought that was real insightful. That was a team that was on top of 40 years of winning 40 straight Super Bowls. That's what they had to say about it. There's something that can be learned there."
