Bernard Scott was placed on injured reserve by the Cincinnati Bengals.

Scott tore the ACL in his left knee in the first quarter of the Bengals' Week 5 loss to the Dolphins.

Scott had five carries for 40 yards.

Scott and the Bengals did not know the full extent of the injury until halftime, when he was declared out for the rest of the game.

Scott was expected to split carries with BenJarvus Green-Ellis this season.
