The San Francisco 49ers became the first team in NFL history to both rush and pass for over 300 yards in the same game.

Alex Smith threw for a season-high 303 yards, while Frank Gore rushed for 106 yards. Kendall Hunter rushed for 81, and quarterbacks Alex Smith and Colin Kaepernick rushed for a combined 88 yards.

The 49ers averaged 8.2 yards per carry, rushing 38 times for 311 yards.
