Greg Jennings plans to sit to heal his groin as along as it takes to get back to 100%.

Jennings aggravated the injury in Week 4 against the Saints.

"However long it takes, so I won't have to sit and answer these same questions again," Jennings said. "We don't know what the timetable is. All I know is we're going to take it one day at a time and hopefully it gets better before Sunday, but odds of that happening, they're odd."

Jennings' best ability is going deep and that is not feasible due to the injury.

"Creating separation," he said, "I just can't get that last gear right now. I'm not one to complain. I don't like to make excuses. But at the same time, I'm not going to go out there and know that I can't perform and do the things that I'm accustomed to doing and keep one of the other guys on the bench.

"When I can do everything the way I'm normally able and capable of doing, then that's when I'll be back out there."
