Logan Thomas has completed 36 of his 61 pass attempts for 442 yards and four touchdowns over the first two weeks of his junior season at Virginia Tech.

But his performance in the Sugar Bowl last year against Michigan where he went 19-for-28 for 214 yards with one interception, along with 16 rushing attempts for 53 yards and a touchdown stands out to Mike Mayock upon a re-watch this summer.

"Logan Thomas blew me away in that Michigan game with his arm strength, athletic ability, touch, accuracy," said Mayock on the Peter King Podcast. "And then I watched him the other night on television and he struggled. He didn't have the two wide receivers that are in the NFL now. It just looked like their offense was kind of hiccuping.

"But what I can tell you is that kid looks like the real deal. He's an underclassmen and I'm anxious to see him at whatever point he decides to come out."
