As the Jets broke training camp on Thursday, Mark Sanchez proclaimed himself the team's leader.

Sanchez's future was clouded when New York acquired Tim Tebow via trade this offseason.

Sanchez added that he's more comfortable as a vocal leader, especially with the young wide receivers.

"When you come in the huddle, not to be selfish here, but this is my huddle," Sanchez said. "Don't talk, name your position quickly and let's go get lined up."
