Under his new contract with the Giants, Osi Umenyiora will make $1.3 million more for the 2012 season. The defender agreed to what is essentially a one-year deal worth $6 million. Initial reports had the deal valued at $7.5 million. Umenyiora's base salary is now $2.5 million. He gets a signing bonus of $2 million, a $250,000 reporting bonus and $1.25 million in roster bonuses.
