Eagles coach Andy Reid says he would recommend Donovan McNabb to another team in need of a quarterback. "I tell them to take him," Reid said of a team looking for a veteran passer. "I still think he can play. I think the world of him, and we had some great years together here. I'm always wishing him the best and a fan of his. I got a chance to see him at Brian Dawkins' retirement (ceremony). He looks good. He looks physically good. He looks like he could go out and play tomorrow. I would highly recommend (him)." After six Pro Bowls in 11 seasons with the Eagles, McNabb was traded to the Redskins for a pair of draft picks in 2010. McNabb had a tumultuous season in Washington, starting 13 games and signing a $78 million contract extension. He spent the final three weeks of the season as the No. 3 quarterback behind Rex Grossman and John Beck. Traded to the Vikings last July, McNabb's reign as the starter lasted six weeks before then-coach Brad Childress replaced McNabb with 2011 first-round pick Christian Ponder.
