The Chargers have agreed to a two-year contract with defensive lineman Antonio Garay. The nose tackle started 28 games for San Diego the last two seasons and played in every contest. His 108 tackles, 8 sacks, 29 quarterback hits and 19 tackles for loss were by far the most among Chargers defensive linemen in 2010-11. Garay, drafted by Cleveland in 2003, also spent several seasons with Chicago before signing with San Diego as a free agent Dec. 9, 2009.
