The Chiefs are emerging as a candidate to make a play for Peyton Manning if he is set free by the Colts, according to a report. Bob Fescoe of Kansas City's 610-AM tweeted that he's heard the Chiefs and Manning's agent, Tom Condon, have spoken twice and that the financials appear to be a "good fit" for the team. Manning missed the entire 2011 season while recovering from surgery on his neck and is due to receive a $28 million bonus on March 8.
