There has been no progress between Cortland Finnegan and the Titans on a new contract as free agency approaches. Finnegan has put his home on the market and is still convinced he won't be back with the team for 2012. Agent Terry Watson said he's scheduled to meet with Titans officials at the NFL Combine later this week. "It is more of a wait-and-see situation, depending on how the conversation goes when we do meet," Watson said. "It is up to the Titans to be able to show Cortland what their mindset is, where things are. "And the only way that can be done is through the use of numbers composed in a contract of some sort, and that hasn't happened to this point. That, in essence, is where things are at this moment." Finnegan was Tennessee's fourth-leading tackler last season while also producing one sack, one interception and 12 passes defensed. "We're in the fourth quarter of this thing," Watson said. "He could be a Tennessee Titan long term, or he could be gone. We are sitting on February 20th ... I am not sure what the meeting will hold. It depends on the Titans."
