The Eagles will not let DeSean Jackson go without getting something in return, according to a report.
Jackson's contract is set to expire in March and the development means Philadelphia is all but guaranteed to place their franchise tag on the wide receiver if a deal isn't reached by March 5.
By franchising Jackson, the Eagles wouldn't let him hit the open market and maintain the option to trade the fifth-year receiver.
