Bears player representative Robbie Gould said there have been no major developments regarding the NFL's collective bargaining negotiations, but he remains hopeful of a resolution.
"We are going to play football; we really are," said Gould, Chicago's kicker.
"And if we miss a season, it's really unfortunate. I think at the end of the day, when you get a group of people in the room working like they are working to get a deal done, a settlement will be reached and we will be playing football," he added. "It's just as to what date we're going to be back and when."
