Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora, who was among roughly 30 players that observed the proceedings before three judges for the 8th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Friday, takes his role as a plaintiff in the infamous antitrust suit very seriously. His name is on the lawsuit, Brady et al., vs. NFL, as one of 15 plaintiffs. "You can't be a main plaintiff and put your name out there, and then go hide under a rock somewhere," Umenyiora said. "It's important that the players know that the guys who put their names out there are definitely behind this, and we're going to see what happens." The three biggest names on the suit — quarterbacks Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and Drew Brees— were not in court.
