The Raiders didn't have a first-round pick in last week's NFL Draft because of a trade with the Patriots that netted them Richard Seymour. Because they dealt the pick for the defender, Oakland coach Hue Jackson believes Seymour was the best selection of the first round. "A lot of people say we didn't have a first round draft pick, but we really felt like we did because obviously we got to retain the services of Richard Seymour, who we traded for and we felt we had the best first round draft pick in the draft. I feel very good about him and where he's headed," Jackson told Gil Brandt of Sirius XM. Seymour had 48 tackles and 5.5 sacks for the Raiders in 13 games this past season.
