Braylon Edwards may be willing to offer the Jets a discount to remain with the franchise. The wide receiver will be an unrestricted free agent regardless of which rules are in place after the NFL lockout. Edwards, 28, said he would be open to re-signing with the Jets if the team's offer was as much as $1 million per year less than competing offers. "It depends on what the discount is," Edwards said this week. "I'm not aiming for the moon. I'm in a certain ballpark. If it's close, then let's do it....This is where I want to be. I don't want to go anywhere else and start over."
