Stanford's Jim Harbaugh agreed to become the San Francisco 49ers head coach Friday afternoon.
The deal is worth $25M over five years, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Harbaugh was introduced by recently-hired GM Trent Baalke at a news conference Friday afternoon.
"I can feel the enthusiasm coursing through my veins right now," Harbaugh said. "I accept this competitive challenge willingly."
