Patriots quarterback Tom Brady isn't comfortable discussing reports that he's close to a contract extension with the only NFL team he's ever played for. "I'm preparing to go out here and have a good weekend," Brady said on WEEI-AM's The Dennis & Callahan Morning Show. "Nothing else matters to me. ... That's the God's honest truth." Brady did have a message for fans worried about him heading into the season without a contract past 2010. "My home's in Boston," he said. Brady made his comments one day after the Boston Herald cited sources close to the negotiations in reporting that the quarterback had been offered a three-year, $58 million contract extension.
