The New York Daily News is reporting that the Jets and cornerback Darrelle Revis are $40 million apart in their negotiations on a new contract. The Jets have had a 10-year, $120 million offer out to Revis for months as one of two proposals, according to the report. Revis and his camp are seeking a deal in the $160-million range with about $30 million in guaranteed money to top the contract of Oakland's Nnamdi Asomugha, per the report. Asomugha will make an average of $16.5 million over the next two seasons.
