The agent for Cowboys wide receiver Patrick Crayton says that his client has not asked the team to trade him.
Fred Lyles said his client is not sending a message by missing voluntary workouts this week.
Dallas drafted receiver Dez Bryant in the first round of last week's NFL Draft.
"This has nothing to do with a reduced role or the capacity in which he's used," Lyles said. "He really wants to be a part of the Cowboys, but he understands if he's not a part of this going forward.
"If he's not in their plans, if they do want to trade him, he's just asking that it be sooner rather than later."
