The Packers aren't close to signing running back Brian Westbrook, according to Greg Bedard of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. "Thompson: Brian Westbrook is a really good player, has been for some time. Other than that, nothing's imminent," Bedard wrote on his Twitter page in reference to Green Bay general manager Ted Thompson.
