Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman has been accused of choking his girlfriend, reality television star Tila Tequila. Merriman allegedly choked and restrained Tequila as she tried to leave his home late Saturday night. Tequila signed a citizen's arrest warrant, charging Merriman with battery and false imprisonment, according to San Diego County Sheriff's Lt. Gary Steadman.
