The Jets aren't currently targeting Plaxico Burress, according to two NFL sources. The club is likely staying away from Burress because of his clouded legal situation. He was granted a court adjournment on Monday, which pushed his trial on gun charges back to September 23. "Any good football player, we're going to monitor their situation," Jets coach Rex Ryan told Sirius NFL radio. "But to us, really, nothing's changed. I know it sounds funny, but we're happy with our guys. ... Do we have that Pro Bowl receiver? No, we don't, but we feel pretty good about our unit."
