The Eagles are currently working on a new deal with long-time quarterback Donovan McNabb. The two sides have been discussing a new contract for the last month, according to Derrick Gunn of Comcast SportsNet in Philadelphia. McNabb and the Eagles have agreed to pause talks on an extension, instead focusing on reworking the final two years of his contract. He will earn $9.2 million this season, and $10 million in 2010.
