ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. believes that Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford is an "obvious" pick for the Lions. Detroit holds the first overall pick in next weekend's NFL Draft. "If you're going to make a quarterback the No. 1 pick in the draft, you better 10 days before the draft know he's your guy," Kiper said. "If you don't, you don't take him. They should have known two months ago that this was the right man for the job. And they may say on draft day, you know, they'll say, 'Well, we've known Matthew Stafford was that pick.' They want to get him signed. Maybe they're trying to put pressure on him."
