Al Davis conceded on Wednesday that the Raiders must put the franchise designation on either Nnamdi Asmougha or Shane Lechler. A regular franchise tag means the player can sign elsewhere with the Raiders getting draft picks in return. The exclusive tag, which they used last year on Asomugha, means they cannot negotiate elsewhere. Davis said he will use the exclusive tag again this year, though he wouldn't say on who. Asomugha, who would get more than $12 million for one season, is more likely to get the designation. "I would think that whatever I do would be exclusive with anyone," Davis said.
