The Tennessee Titans and the representatives for Albert Haynesworth are far apart in terms of the dollar value of a new contract, according to sources familiar with the situation. After the two sides spoke in late January, the Titans have now made an initial offer to Haynesworth, but the sides apparently are not at all close in terms of what each is seeking in a new contract extension for the defensive tackle.
