Mark Ingram's 28-day run from the law ended Friday with his arrest in a Michigan hotel room. Ingram was nabbed without a struggle in Flint, Mich., a short distance from his home in Grand Blanc, said Timothy Hogan of the U.S. Marshals Service. The star of the Giants' Super Bowl XXV victory disappeared on Dec. 5, when he was due to surrender at a federal prison in Kentucky. He pleaded guilty in December 2005 in a federal drug money laundering sting, receiving a jail term of nearly eight years last September after about three years of delays. Ingram, 43, hoped to stay free to watch his freshman son play the last two games of the season with Alabama.
