There have been 97 wide receivers selected in the first round of the NFL draft over the past 25 years dating back to 1999. The Baltimore Ravens have selected the most wide receivers in the first round with six, while the New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers have selected the fewest with one apiece.

The 2008 draft was the only year during the timespan where no wide receivers were selected in the first round, though there three selected in the first five picks of the second round.

In the 2024 NFL draft, Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers and Rome Odunze are certain to picked in the first round at the wide receiver position. Brian Thomas Jr., Xavier Worthy, Xavier Legette and Adonai Mitchell could also be amongst the first 32 selections.
