Despite changes to the coaching staff this offseason, Carson Wentz still prefers a fresh start and a trade from the Philadelphia Eagles, according to a report.

The Eagles fired Doug Pederson and hired Nick Sirianni. The new head coach served as the offensive coordinator under Frank Reich with the Indianapolis Colts. Reich was Philadelphia's coordinator when Wentz nearly won MVP in 2017.

Adam Schefter noted that Wentz has yet to welcome Sirianni or comment on Pederson's firing.

"(He) wants to leave the franchise," Schefter said on 97.5 The Fanatic. "That's why (a) trade still is in play. This is all real. None of this is made up."
