There has been speculation that the San Diego Chargers could trade Philip Rivers to the Tennessee Titans in a deal that moves them up to the second overall pick to draft Marcus Mariota.

Rivers is in the final year of his contract, has indicated an unwillingness to engage in contract extension talks and will play out the deal.

The Chargers are in win-now mode and Rivers remains under Chargers' control for three more seasons regardless of whether he signs an extension.
