Eagles Swoop In, Sign Asomugha
The Eagles seemingly came out of nowhere to sign Nnamdi Asomugha as they eye a trip to the Super Bowl.

While Oregon, TCU and Auburn either had byes or may as well have been off in the Tigers' case, Boise State completely dominated the third best team in the WAC by having a +29.9 against Fresno State.

This was very much a transition week in college football, with football games at baseball stadiums dominating much of the attention. Notre Dame had a +16.9 against Army at Yankee Stadium and Illinois had a +5.0 at the very friendly confines of Wrigley Field.

Week 13 will go the longest ways in deciding how the bowl picture shapes up. Boise State travels to Reno to ball the very tough Nevada Wolfpack and Colin Kaepernick. Kaepernick had a breakout game at Boise State during his freshman season when he ran for 177 yards and two touchdowns in a nationally televised 69-67 shootout. The senior quarterback is 0-3 against the Broncos in his career, despite playing them extremely tough.

Oregon hosts a somewhat legitimate threat in Arizona, but their Civil War trip to Corvalis should be considered infinitely scarier.

As LSU leers in the background and will face a challenge at Arkansas, Auburn will have a chance to prove their BCS mettle by facing the defending champs in Tuscaloosa.
