Jerry Jeudy: Dropped Passes Are Unacceptable

Dec 28, 2020 8:48 AM

Drew Lock targeted Jerry Jeudy 15 times on Sunday, but the rookie wide receiver had just six catches for 61 yards.

Jeudy had 5 drops, including two very costly ones.

He has been targeted 91 times this season and caught just 41 passes.

"Sometimes, drops happen," Jeudy said. "I'm watching the ball come in. I just dropped it. And I've just got to focus on the next play. It just happened too many times. That's unacceptable."

The Denver Broncos will retain Vic Fangio as head coach in 2021.

The Broncos will have their fourth straight losing season.

The Broncos know how Fangio operates, respect his approach and believe he was dealt a difficult hand this season between the Broncos' early-season injuries.

Fangio signed a four-year contract with a fifth-year option when he was hired by the Broncos in January 2019.

Four Broncos QBs Fined For Not Wearing Masks

Dec 3, 2020 8:50 AM

The Denver Broncos have fined all four of their quarterbacks for violations of COVOD-19 protocols, including not wearing masks.

Drew Lock and Brett Rypien returned to practice Wednesday.

Lock, Rypien and Blake Bortles, who is on the practice squad, were not eligible to play in Sunday's 31-3 loss to the New Orleans Saints after being deemed high-risk close contacts of Jeff Driskel, who tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday.

More discipline, including a fine to the organization as well as the loss of a draft pick, could come from the NFL in the days and weeks ahead.
