Report: Cowboys 'Intrigued' By C.J. Stroud

Feb 21, 2023 8:21 AM

The Dallas Cowboys have a franchise quarterback in Dak Prescott but they are "intrigued" by Ohio State's C.J. Stroud, according to a report.

Prescott is entering the third year of a four-year deal.

For 2023, Prescott makes $31 million but, thanks to past payments, he has a cap number of $49.13 million. Next year, the cap charge increases to $52.13 million.

Given the structure of the deal, Prescott will become a free agent in 2025.

Michael Irvin Sues Accuser, Marriott For $100M Over Accusation

Feb 10, 2023 8:52 AM

Michael Irvin has been taken off television coverage for Super Bowl LVII after an allegation of misconduct.

The NFL Network and ESPN removed Irvin from coverage after a woman accused him of misconduct at a Marriott hotel this week.

Irvin filed a lawsuit against the woman and Marriott on Thursday afternoon. He claims the accuser and the hotel hoped to make him the next victim of "cancel culture."

Per the lawsuits, eyewitnesses support Irvin's contention that he "casually exchanged pleasantries" with the accuser -- a hotel employee -- "shook her hand, and went to his room alone."

He has admitted that he doesn't fully recall what happened, and that he had been "out drinking."

NFL Network Takes Michael Irvin Off Super Bowl Coverage

Feb 9, 2023 8:26 AM

Michael Irvin will not serve as an NFL Network analyst ahead of Super Bowl LVII after a woman issued a complaint about his conduct during a hotel encounter in Glendale, Arizona.

Irvin denied any wrongdoing to The Dallas Morning News, saying his interaction with the woman took place in the hotel lobby and lasted less than a minute.

"Honestly, I'm a bit baffled with it all," Irvin said. "This all happened in a 45-second conversation in the lobby. When I got back after going out ... I came into the lobby and I talked to somebody. I talked to this girl. I don't know her, and I talked to her for about 45 seconds. We shook hands. Then, I left. ... That's all I know."

Irvin also told 105.3 The Fan that he did not remember the interaction with the woman after having "a few drinks."
