BCS Commissioners Endorse Four-Team Playoff
The BCS commissioners and Notre Dame AD Jack Swarbrick on Wednesday endorsed a seeded four-team playoff model for college football that would begin for the 2014 season.
The commissioners' consensus must be approved by the BCS presidential oversight committee, which meets June 26 in Washington, D.C.

Defensive end Robert Nkemdiche of Loganville (Ga.) Grayson, the country's No. 1 overall prospect, committed to Clemson on Thursday, according to a Rivals.com report.
Although Nkemdiche consistently listed the Tigers among his favorites, few ever seemed to give the Tigers much of a shot.
Auburn Shooting Leaves Two Former Players Dead
A gunman opened fire during a fight at a party at an apartment complex near Auburn University, killing three people, including two former school football players, according to authorities.
Three other people were injured, with one in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the head.
Auburn Police Chief Tommy Dawson said during a news conference that current football player Eric Mack was among those wounded and was being treated at a hospital.
Slain were Edward Christian, who had not been playing because of a back injury, and Ladarious Phillips, who had previously quit playing football.
