It appears that, for the first time in a month, the Redskins will give LaVar Arrington significant playing time at linebacker when the team takes on San Francisco on Sunday, The Washington Post reported. The three-time Pro-Bowler has not seen any action on defense during the past two games -- both Redskin losses. On Thursday, however, Gregg Williams, the assistant head coach-defense, hinted that the team might use Arrington against the 49ers and their rookie quarterback, Alex Smith. "He's had a really good week of practice," Williams told the paper. "I feel real good about his playing and real good about where he's at. The last two weeks, he's taken some strides physically. It looks like his legs are back. He's bouncing around pretty good out there."
