The San Diego Chargers announced Monday the signing of tight end Kris Wilson and offensive lineman Kynan Forney. To make room on the roster for the two veterans, the team released fullback Andrew Pinnock and placed center Cory Withrow on ?Reserve-Injured.? Withrow suffered a hamstring injury in Friday night?s preseason finale at San Francisco. Wilson was drafted by the Chiefs in the second round of the 2004 NFL draft following a standout career at the University of Pittsburgh. During his time in Kansas City, Wilson lined up at tight end, H-Back and was the club?s starting fullback for 11 games in 2006. Wilson signed with Philadelphia as a free agent this offseason but was released Saturday. In 49 career games, Wilson has caught 42 passes for 345 yards and four touchdowns.
