Veteran linebacker Rosevelt Colvin was among twenty-one roster cuts by the Texans on Friday, according to Houston Chronicle. Colvin, who received $1 million to sign in late June, struggled during training camp and in the preseason games. "It was a very difficult decision," Texans' Coach Gary Kubiak said. "We all know why we brought him here. We brought him in to use him as a specialist type of player ? pass rusher. We used him at the end position. We used him at the linebacker position." "He busted his tail and did everything he could do. We moved him around best we could, but, when all was said and done, the decision was made for a player that would do more things, especially from a standpoint of special teams."
