Giants' kicker Lawrence Tynes, who kicked the team into February's Super Bowl in an overtime victory over the Packers in the NFC Title Game, will undergo exploratory surgery on his left knee, according to The Star-Ledger. He could be lost for the season if the surgery reveals that further surgery is needed. "I don't know what to tell you there," Coach Tom Coughlin said when asked if Tynes was improving. "He says he is but they haven't given him the green light. ... It's close to when we need to know at least what the expectation is."
