The San Diego Chargers have re-signed four exclusive rights free agents: tackle Jeromey Clary, wide receiver Malcom Floyd, safety Steve Gregory, and defensive tackle Brandon McKinney. Clary moved into the starting lineup in December and started the last five games of the regular season at right tackle. With him in the lineup, the Chargers rushed for 880 yards (176 ypg) and eight touchdowns, and the Bolts went 5-0 during that stretch. Floyd saw action in six games, catching seven passes for 97 yards. Gregory played in all 16 games, seeing most of his action on special teams. His nine special teams tackles were fifth-most on the squad. McKinney became a regular in the Chargers? defensive line rotation, playing in 14 games with two starts at defensive tackle. He recorded a career-high 35 tackles. The players all signed one-year contracts with the team. As exclusive rights free agents (EFAs), each player has two years of NFL experience. Cornerback Cletis Gordon is the only EFA who has yet to sign a contract.
