During an appearance on the NFL Network this Thursday, Eagles' quarterback Donovan McNabb expressed he desire to see tight end L.J. Smith back on the team next season. "I do [want Smith back]," McNabb said on the NFL Network. "He's a big part of our offense. It was unfortunate that he was hurt in his contract year. He was working very hard to get ready for the season, and then he had the abdominal strain or sports hernia, and the groin injury. That's tough. He's got to get down in the three-point stance with those injuries, and he had to be fatigued, too."
