New York Giants running back Tiki Barber said he signed a two-year contract extension with the team Thursday. The new contract goes through the 2008 season. Barber's agent, Mark Lepselter, did not immediately return a phone message Thursday. Under terms of his previous contract, Barber was scheduled to earn $4.25 million this season and in 2006. ``It's something we've been working on for a few months, and I'm glad it got done,'' Barber said. ``It assures I'll be here for the rest of my career. We're excited about it. This organization has been very loyal to me and I've been very loyal to this organization, and it'll always be that way.''
