The pain in Larry Johnson's badly sprained right foot has traveled to the wallet of the Kansas City Chiefs' star tailback. Johnson has been fined $7,500 by the league for planting a flag in the end zone at Arrowhead Stadium after scoring a touchdown in last Sunday afternoon's 33-22 loss to the Green Bay Packers. In assessing the fine, the NFL cited its rule against using props as part of celebrations. It is unlikely that Johnson will appeal the fine. Johnson scored on a 30-yard pass from Damon Huard in the fourth quarter to give the Chiefs a 14-13 lead in the game. As he ran through the end zone celebrating the touchdown, one of the flag-bearers handed Johnson the flag. Caught up on the emotion, he emphatically planted the banner in the turf.
