Adrian Peterson pulled off quite a daily-double last weekend. Not only did the Vikings' rookie running back shatter the NFL record for rushing yards in a single game, he managed to steal some of the spotlight from the game of the decade between the Patriots and Colts. Peterson rumbled for 296 yards in a victory over the Chargers, eclipsing the previous mark of 295 set by Jamal Lewis with the Ravens in 2003. Peterson also went over 1,000 yards on the season, putting him on pace to challenge the all-time single-season record of 2,105 yards set by Eric Dickerson in 1983.
