The Philadelphia Eagles worked out free agent Darnerien McCants on Wednesday two days after the wide receiver was released by the Washington Redskins. "Man, that would be great. He'd really fit in here," said Eagles? center Jamaal Jackson, who talked with McCants on Tuesday night, but wasn't told of the impending workout. "He's a good player and a good guy and he could help us. I can't wait to see him." Later, after Jackson saw and talked with McCants, he reported that the tryout went well. "He was basically happy with the way things worked out," Jackson said. "And he said he would really like to be here, but what happens, happens. I guess it's in (the Eagles') hands now."
